Eco-Friendly Alternative to a Helicopter Tour
Oahu’s rugged landscape is punctuated with historical sites which are best appreciated from above – aboard a scenic flightseeing tour. The course of our nation was forever changed when Japanese Zeros descended on the naval base at Pearl Harbor and this tour illuminates the scale of the attack which launched the United States into World War II. Beyond the historical insights and perspective offered by the pilots, passengers are also treated to a birds-eye view of “Hawaii’s Gathering Place”, the island of Oahu, from the famous beaches of Waikiki and the North shore to the windward coast where warm azure waters meet dramatic mountains. Quite simply, Oahu is
spectacular from above!
The tour is also unique among Hawaii air tours, because they can accommodate up to six people per flight and have no passenger weight restrictions, making this a perfect air tour for families. Children under 24 months of age are welcome as a lap child at no charge. Children 24 months and over require an individual full-fare seat.
ECO FRIENDLY
These new six-passenger planes are slow flying, stable, spacious and can tour the whole island on 3x less fuel than a helicopter tour. This fuel-efficiency makes it a great value, and it feels good to know you’re paying for the view and not the fuel. Low noise on the outside to protect Hawaii’s environment and quiet on the inside, thanks to personalized headsets with two-way microphones that let you share the experience.
COMFORTABLE AND STABLE
The Airvan is a spacious aircraft (no middle seats!) and with large bubble windows designed for sightseeing and photography. The airplanes’ slower speed allows optimal exposure time for viewing Oahu’s most awesome features. You’ll share the experience with fellow passengers through two-way noise reduction headsets as the pilots share the history and lore of Hawaii during your flight.
